Using Photos Helpful Practical Tips |
| All individuals should read this page before sending in any photos and know what makes it very difficult to read them. See Examples here: Submitting a photo - for profile This page has examples of photos that will demonstrate that poor photos will result in a poor response to your profile page on any dating agency file. Please read the information carefully before submitting your photos. Your photo should be one that reflects your everyday appearance not one that looks as if you are going to the celebrity awards. For profiling we need a good natural face view. Looking at potential problems with your photos, here are some tips to check. 1. Wearing sun glasses, hat, turban or clothes that cover the face, so that you cannnot see member. 2. To much make up to distort the real you. 3. Too much hair covering the head and face. 4. Wearing classes or a beard or hands covering the face. 5. Too small so that you cannot be seen. 6. Up date photo taken within the past 3 to 6 months, not one when you were a teenager! 7. Clear and easy to see, avoid a dark background 8. Not looking straight or looking in wrong direction or head tilted. 9. Having other people in a photo, confusing viewer which person is you.  If you are a celebrity and famous then covering your face maybe acceptable but if you are not, then it is definitely a No when making up a profile, covering your face is a bad idea.   Being sent a photo such as the one on the left has far to much makeup on. Just be yourself.   Yes this is me . . WHERE, Which person? The picture on the left is totally impractical and does not show the person. The picture on the right is half the size yet can easily be seen. Also having two people in a photo will make it confusing which one is you.  Another example of the type of photos some people send in to us and we just cannot see them, so please do not send photos liken this one, it is far too small.   Left: Having a dark background is also impractical as it obstructs the view. Right: A light background is ideal and so your photo background should not have things which cause distraction or make the picture unclear. One last thing about photos. “Naked or semi naked” photos might be acceptable for a fun day on the beach to send a friend, but to send and display photos of this type is extremely offence to oriental cultures. The small section of Asian pornographic websites may tend to give the impression that all Chinese, Pilipino or Japanese woman are over sexed, desperate and wiling to accept any western man is just not true. Most oriental woman are very intelligent and have high education and have good family values and as such will take great offence if presented with a photo that is sexy and provocative. If you care to check the university Chinese websites for example and you put a profile of this type on them you will most likely receive a reply informing you is not acceptable and be refused any further use of the website. Any male looking for a female would do well to read up on the culture and some information has been presented on this site. A man for example knowing little about the culture of any Asian land, China, Japan will come across as ignorant and un-educated, so guys if you looking for an Asian partner, do your home work before writing to the female. |
